Volodymyr M. Kruliv (Dovbush)

Vladimir Kuliv, a military serviceman, was killed in action on May 2, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region. During the enemy artillery shelling near the village of Stepok, the warrior received fatal injuries. He was 42 years old. Vladimir was born in the village of Cherniiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1990-1992, he joined "Plast" and was part of the group "Kruky" with the call sign "Dovbush." He graduated from the College of Electronic Devices at the Ivano-Frankivsk National University of Oil and Gas. He worked as an electrician. Later, he moved to Paris but often returned home. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir joined the ranks of the 7th Separate Rifle Battalion of the A7091 unit. He was a rifleman-assistant grenade launcher. "My soul is torn to pieces. May God receive the soul of my husband into the Kingdom of Heaven... For us, he is alive and somewhere nearby - in memories, in the heart, and in dreams. The soul is always alive; it knows and sees how we suffer now! Today, tomorrow, and all our lives, we remember, love, and grieve!" wrote the widow of the deceased, Oksana. "It is very difficult to lose people with whom you grew up, with whom you stu in the same class, experienced all school difficulties, and rejoiced in victories. Dear classmate, may the earth be soft for you, rest in peace with God. We will never forget you. Condolences to the family," wrote Oksana Stefurak. The defender was buried in his native village. Vladimir is survived by his mother Evdokia, brother Mykola, wife Oksana, and daughter Ulyana.
