Biography
Martenenko Volodymyr Mykolayovych was born on August 20, 1969, in the city of Myronivka. In 1984, he graduated from the Maslivka 8-year school. He studied for two years at Myronivka Secondary School No. 1, which he graduated from in 1986. From September 1, 1986, to June 19, 1987, he studied in the city of Cherkasy, obtaining the specialty of "Radiomechanic." From 1987 to 1991, he studied at the Perm Higher Military Command School, where he acquired the profession of an officer of motorized infantry troops. For three years, he was the commander of a special unit that participated in combat operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. After demobilization, he worked as an operative in the Myronivka linear department for cargo inspection, holding the rank of captain. He is married. His wife is Lyudmyla. He is the father of two sons — Roman and Bohdan. Since 2009, he worked as a forest master in the Maslivka forestry of the Rzhyshchiv DLG. In August 2014, he was mobilized into the 2nd Separate Galician Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He performed combat missions in the ATO zone. He was the commander of a company. On March 6, 2015, he was awarded a certificate for conscientious performance of military duty, loyalty to the military oath in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Since June 2016, he was called up by the Myronivka RVK in the Kyiv region and appointed commander of a mechanized platoon of the 5th mechanized company of the 2nd mechanized battalion. Unfortunately, an enemy bullet on December 13, 2016, in the village of Verkhnotoretske, Yasynuvata district, Donetsk region, ended the life of our hero, classmate, comrade, husband, father, our dear fellow villager, who defended the integrity of our state.Military service
