      Killed in action on June 6, 2014, as a result of being hit by a MANPADS on the transport aircraft AN-30B near the village of Pryshyb in the Sloviansk district of Donetsk region. When the aircraft, hit during a reconnaissance flight, began to fall on the residential areas of Sloviansk, the crew, at the cost of their own lives, directed it outside the city.
