Volodymyr M. Orlov (Orel)

Orlov Volodymyr Mykhailovych was born on August 25, 1989 in the city of Pustomyty, Lviv region. In 2006, he graduated from Pustomyty Secondary School No. 2. After school, he graduated from the Faculty of History of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. From October 2011 to July 2012, he served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. After completing his service, he held the position of sales consultant in the "Souvenir Store" retail chain. Subsequently, he mastered the profession of computer systems engineer. He got married in 2014 and raised a son. In 2018, he started working as a computer network and technology specialist at the company "GlobalLogic". With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in March 2022, he volunteered to defend Ukraine. He served as part of the 125th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holding the position of a grenade launcher in the grenade launcher section. He had the skills of a combat medic. He was killed on October 20, 2022 during the performance of a combat mission in the area of the village of Torske, Donetsk region. He was buried on October 26, 2022 in the cemetery in the city of Pustomyty.
