Volodymyr M. Savchyshyn

Volodymyr Mykhailovych Savchyshyn was born on July 16, 1988, in the village of Sataniv, Khmelnytskyi region. He studied at the Sataniv General Education School of I-III degrees. He initially served in Crimea. During the occupation of Crimea by Russian troops at the end of 2014, he transferred to the city of Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region. In December 2021, he was appointed commander of a boat. In 2020-2021, he participated in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in Donetsk region. He was killed on the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, February 24, 2022, as a result of enemy airstrikes on the territory of the Ochakiv military port. Volodymyr Savchyshyn was buried on March 15, 2022, in the village of Sataniv, Khmelnytskyi region.
