- Soldier Volodymyr Saverchuk (call sign Sava) was killed on December 21, 2022 in battle with the occupiers near the village of Pavlivka in the Donetsk region. As a result of a direct hit by an enemy anti-tank missile, he received fatal injuries. The defender was 33 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Poberezhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He lived in Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from vocational school No. 16 and obtained the profession of an electric gas welder. He worked at the Ivano-Frankivsktsement plant, where he repaired locomotives. In his free time, he loved to fish, go to the forest, and pick mushrooms. During the full-scale invasion, the man became a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought as part of the 52nd separate rifle battalion (military unit A4128). He was a grenade launcher of the rifle squad. Volodymyr was awarded the badge of the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk "For Honor and Valor" and the medal of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council "Knight of Combat Deed". "My husband was the meaning of my life, my joy and happiness. He loved me and our children very much. He loved life, loved to work and have fun, was the soul of the company. He always came to help, knew how to support and advise. He always tried to do everything in his power to make our family strong and happy. He was a good specialist at work, a master of his craft. Immediately after the start of the war, on March 3, he went to defend our country. He was a strong and determined person. A person with a bright soul and a big heart," said Iryna Saverchuk. Volodymyr was buried in his native village. The warrior left behind parents, a sister, a wife, a son and a daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
