Volodymyr O. Kokhanskyi

Soldier Volodymyr Kokhansky was killed on March 18, 2023 near the village of Orikovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. While performing his duties, he came under enemy artillery fire. The defender was 25 years old. Volodymyr was from the village of Danylova Balka in the Kirovohrad region. He lived in the village of Lozuvata. He completed 9 grades of a rural school and the Blahovishchensk vocational lyceum. He was engaged in the repair of cars and motorcycles. His last place of work was LLC "Zorya". During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for his native country in the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 77th separate airmobile brigade. He held the position of a shooter. During his service, he underwent training in the USA. "Vova grew up as a calm boy. He was kind, cheerful, and curious. He had golden hands," said the sister of the deceased Natalia. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Lozuvata in the Kirovohrad region. Volodymyr is survived by his parents, brother, sister and son.
