Volodymyr O. Sova-Lisovets

Sova-Lisovets Volodymyr Oleksandrovych was born on December 30, 1989, in the urban-type settlement of Yarmolyntsi, Khmilnytskyi Oblast. He studied at Yarmolyntsi Secondary School No. 2. In 2015, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as part of the 8th Special Operations Regiment of the Special Operations Forces named after Prince Iziaslav Mstyslavavych. After the large-scale Russian invasion, he participated in combat operations in Kyiv Oblast (Kyiv city, Bucha), Donetsk Oblast, and Luhansk Oblast. He was killed on June 30, 2022, during enemy shelling near the city of Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast. He was buried on July 2, 2022, in his hometown. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
