- Soldier Volodymyr Vitoshkin (call sign Vitoha) was killed on March 31, 2024 in a battle near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. On April 12, the defender would have turned 30 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Nadezhivka, Kherson region. He graduated from Bilozerske Vocational School No. 6, where he obtained the qualifications of a tractor-machine operator in agricultural production, a car mechanic, and a driver. He also mastered the profession of a laboratory assistant for chemical and bacteriological analysis at the Kryzopil Vocational Construction Lyceum. He worked at the Vinnytsia Poultry Factory, holding the position of a poultry breeder in the production unit for poultry breeding. He loved driving cars and motorcycles very much. During the full-scale war, Volodymyr became a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the ranks of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He held the position of senior driver. "Volodymyr was the best son, a cheerful and kind person, a good husband and father," his mother said. The paratrooper was buried at the Krupske Cemetery in the village of Horodkivka, Vinnytsia region. Volodymyr is survived by his parents Maryna Oleksandrivna and Oleksandr Oleksandrovych, sisters Iryna and Viktoriia, wife Iryna, son Dmytro, and daughter Yevheniia.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
