- Paratrooper Volodymyr Badz (call sign Wolverine) was killed on April 23, 2023, near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he received fatal shrapnel wounds during enemy mortar fire. The warrior was 29 years old. Volodymyr was from the village of Zibolky in the Lviv region. He received secondary education. After completing his studies, he served in the National Guard of Ukraine. He loved fishing, sports, and woodworking. After getting married, he moved to the village of Blyshhyvody. Before the invasion, he worked at Nova Poshta LLC. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He fought as part of the 80th separate air assault brigade. He was a rifleman-sniper. "He was a good family man, brave, courageous, sensitive, sincere, a wonderful man and the best father for his daughters. He wanted his girls to live under a peaceful sky in their country, for which he fought. He stood up to defend the state, bravely defended it, and always said that it was his duty to protect us and the country. We, with our daughters, miss our beloved and father very much. The daughters will always know that their father is a Hero," said the wife of the fallen Galyna. The defender was buried in the village of Blyshhyvody in the Lviv region. At home in Volodymyr, his wife Galyna and daughters Yulia and Anna were waiting for him. Posthumously, soldier Volodymyr Badz was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. He was also posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Zhovkva OTG".Memory Platform 'Memorial'
