Volodymyr R. Musiievskyi (Himli)

Soldier Volodymyr Musiyevsky (call sign Gimli) was killed on August 23, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the village of Opytne, Donetsk region. The warrior was 36 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Mervychi, Lviv region. He grew up without a father in a large family. He finished nine grades of general education school. In peacetime, he was engaged in laying paving stones. He loved to repair cars. From the first days of the full-scale war, Volodymyr Musiyevsky was called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He joined the 115th separate mechanized brigade. He was awarded the medal "Defender of the Fatherland". "My brother was very kind, always supported us and replaced our father in our family. Cheerful and cheerful, he never feared difficulties, always helped everyone. He was an example of a brave and athletic man," said the deceased's sister Natalia Yankovych. Volodymyr was buried in the village of Marvychi. The defender left behind his mother, brother, and two sisters.
