Volodymyr S. Kravets

21-year-old fighter Volodymyr Kravets was killed on November 17, 2022 while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region. Volodymyr was from the Luhansk region. He was an orphan, obtained a secondary technical education at a vocational school. He lived in Rubizhne and worked as an electric gas welder. He loved music and was cheerful and fun-loving. He dreamed of having his own family. He had his own apartment, which he received as an orphan, but during the invasion, the occupiers destroyed it. When the full-scale war began, the young man was forced to flee. He settled in Volyn as a displaced person. However, in the summer, he decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defend his native lands from the occupiers. "Another bitter loss for our community. A courageous warrior, a true man and patriot of his Motherland, Volodymyr Kravets, born in 2001, has perished. The sad news came to the village of Stobyhivka. The war caught him by surprise. A native of Severodonetsk, he ended up in the Soshychne community in February as a displaced person and could not bear to watch the ruthless destruction of his native home by the Russians, so he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Until his last breath, he believed in Ukraine. The sky is taking our future... The ranks of the Angels are being replenished with another guardian..." - noted in the Soshychne village community. The young defender was buried in the village of Stobyhivka in Volyn.
