- TRO fighter Volodymyr Makarov (call sign Multik) was killed in action on July 18, 2022, during a mortar shelling near the village of Prybuzke, Mykolaiv region. The warrior was 37 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Biryuky, Kyiv region. After the 9th grade, he entered the Stavyshchensky Law Lyceum No. 2. Then he graduated from the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. He lived in Kyiv. In his youth, he was engaged in boxing. Then he became interested in aikido, had a green belt. Under the guidance of his coach, he began to teach children. His last place of work was the company "Biosphere Professional", where he was the national manager. In his free time, he read a lot and stu English. From the first days of the full-scale war, Volodymyr stood up to defend Ukraine. Initially, as part of a volunteer formation, he helped defend the city of Irpin. In April, he joined the 206th battalion of the 112th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a shooter. Later, their unit was sent to the Mykolaiv region. "I am convinced that my Vovka left a huge mark in the life of every person whom fate brought him together with. His optimism, smile, and faith in a bright future could not leave anyone indifferent. I am grateful to him for every morning, every memory, and two children who now look at me with his eyes. He couldn't be otherwise. He believed in victory, truth, and justice until the last minute and followed the call of his heart. He is the best!" - said the wife of the deceased, Marina. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory of the "Sukhy Yar" cemetery in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. Volodymyr is survived by his wife, Marina, children Vladislav and Victoria, parents Galina and Sergei, brothers Andriy and Oleksandr.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
