Volodymyr V. Beneda (Hrafit)

Soldier Volodymyr Beneda (call sign Grafit) was killed on February 11, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Vasyukivka in the Donetsk region. In 5 days, the defender would have turned 35 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Svytyntsi, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Kyiv Energy Professional College. He was married. He lived with his family in the village of Petropavlivka, Cherkasy region. He worked in construction. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in December 2022, the man was mobilized into the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 77th separate airmobile brigade. He was a member of the grenade launcher crew.
