Volodymyr V. Chernysh (Red Bull)

Soldier Volodymyr Chernysh (call sign Red Bull) died on September 10, 2023 in a battle near the village of Andriyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior's life was cut short by enemy shelling. The defender was 41 years old. Volodymyr was from Poltava. He graduated from the National University "Poltava Polytechnic named after Yuri Kondratyuk". He worked as a sales manager at the company "Red Bull Ukraine". He was passionate about sports and earned the title of Candidate Master of Sports in karting. In the first days of the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the territorial defense, and later transferred to the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a shooter. "He was a very good, kind and at the same time sincere person. He had a huge number of friends. He lived his work and sports. Without hesitation, he went to war from the first days..." - said the late's ex-wife Iryna Remennykova. Volodymyr was buried at the Zaturinsky cemetery in the Poltava region. Volodymyr is survived by his parents, sister, daughter, relatives, close friends and comrades-in-arms. In Poltava, a lane was renamed in honor of the defender to Akademika Pasichnyka Lane.
