Volodymyr V. Danyshchuk (Med)

Soldier Volodymyr Danyshchuk was killed on July 16, 2023 near the settlement of Kurdyumivka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained fatal injuries as a result of enemy mortar shelling. The defender was 29 years old. Volodymyr was born in the city of Malyn, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from the Kyiv Professional College of Construction and Architecture. He was engaged in car detailing, working in the companies "Dr. Dret" (Kyiv) and "MalynMoyka" (Malyn). During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought against the occupiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. He held the position of a rifleman-medic. "Volodymyr was kind, polite, fair, and always helped people," said Artem, the godfather and friend of the deceased. "He was killed defending the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of Ukraine, remaining faithful to the military oath until his last breath. Eternal glory to the Hero!" - noted in the Malyn City Council. The defender was buried in the New Cemetery in his hometown. At home, Volodymyr was awaited by his father, sister and son.
