Volodymyr V. Fedan

Serviceman Volodymyr Fedan was killed on January 3, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region. He was 30 years old. Volodymyr was born and lived in the village of Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia region. He graduated from Mykolai-Pilska school. He worked on a farm. He performed various tasks on agricultural machinery. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his native country. "His teachers remember him as a quiet, calm, and responsible young man. Colleagues speak of him as a selfless and responsible specialist. He treated his fellow villagers with care, never refusing to help around the household. Without hesitation, he stood up to defend Ukraine and each of us. He has been at war since last April, serving in the mechanized forces. He was true to himself, his Homeland, and the oath of a warrior until the end," said Denys Korotenko, head of the Shyrokivska community. The defender was buried in his native village. Volodymyr is survived by his mother, sister and brother.
