Soldier Volodymyr Filipchuk (call sign Evil) was killed on October 1, 2022 in a battle with the occupiers near the settlement of Spirne in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 38 years old. Volodymyr was born and lived in the capital. He graduated from Kyiv Higher Vocational School No. 40, obtained the profession of an auto mechanic. He adored bicycles and speed. He was interested in space. He rejoiced in life and made plans for the future. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man without hesitation defended his native country. He fought as part of the 25th Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Volodymyr was a person of incredible soul and heart. He adored life, had many plans and dreams for the future. He wanted to start a family, dreamed of children. Volodya is the best person in the world, without exaggeration. A person with a capital letter. With a huge sincere and kind heart. As the song says: "People who live for people." He always helped without sparing himself, you could rely on him in any situation. A person who knows how to love, knows how to be a friend, knows how to live. There are no more such people. He gave everything he had, the main and most valuable - his life, his dreams, his future. And again, everything for people... That's what they are, the Heroes! When a loved one dies, his other half dies in the same second. Therefore, when they start counting how many soldiers gave their lives in this damned war, they can multiply this figure by two with confidence. Without you, I am not.
