Volodymyr V. Fulmes (Fil)

Soldier Volodymyr Fulmes was killed in action on July 6, 2022, at positions near the city of Siversk, Donetsk region, during an enemy missile-bombing strike. The warrior was 46 years old. Volodymyr was born in the city of Yavoriv, Lviv region. He graduated from the art vocational school named after Yosyp Stank in the village of Ivano-Frankove. He worked as a long-haul truck driver. He adored his family, with whom he loved to spend his free time. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man went to defend his country and loved ones from the enemy. He joined the ranks of the 66th battalion of the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He did what he did best - he was a driver. "A very good person, eternal memory to the hero," wrote his friend Vitaliy. "A native of Yavoriv, a talented and hardworking man, before the war he was a professional long-haul truck driver. But the full-scale Russian invasion forced Volodymyr to leave his job and go to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his family and homeland. Kind, honest, always ready to help - this is how neighbors, acquaintances, friends, family, and the Yavoriv community remember him. Eternal memory to the Hero!", the community noted. The defender was buried in his native Yavoriv. Volodymyr left behind his wife Maria and son Ivan.
