Volodymyr V. Holovatyi (Khakim)

Holovatyi Volodymyr Vasylovych was born on May 23, 1993, in the village of Pidberezhhia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, in a large family. He was interested in poetry and sports. He loved nature and animals. He was an exemplary brother for his younger siblings. In 2012, he graduated from the Prykarpattia Forestry College in Bolekhiv. He began his service in March 2013 in the 1st separate Feodosia battalion of the Marine Corps. After signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he defended Ukraine from the first days of Russia's invasion, as a result of which he received a shoulder injury and a closed traumatic brain injury. Later, he studied at the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi, which he graduated from in 2019. In 2019-2022, he served in the 81st separate airmobile brigade. He took part in military operations in eastern Ukraine. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the forefront. He was killed on April 13, 2022, in the village of Dolyna, Sviatohirsk city community, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region. The farewell ceremony for the fallen took place on April 21, 2022, in the village of Pidberezhhia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
