Volodymyr V. Khodakivskyi (Khodor)

Khodakivskyi Volodymyr Volodymyrovych was born on December 31, 1999, in the village of Sokolivka, Uman district, Cherkasy region. He spent his childhood in the Uman district of Cherkasy region. In 2017, he enrolled at the Cherkasy National University named after B. Khmelnytskyi, majoring in Political Science. After the 2nd year, he transferred to distance learning, signed a contract with the National Guard of Ukraine, and continued his studies combined with military service in Mariupol. In 2021, he received a bachelor's degree. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 23, he was on vacation at home, but returned to Mariupol on February 24, where he participated in the city's battles as part of the Azov Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. On April 17, 2022, he was awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree. He was killed on May 8, 2022, as a result of an airstrike on Azovstal.
