He commanded a platoon. He fought in the Donetsk region. "Beloved husband, the best father, loving son and brother," said the wife of the deceased, Ivanna. "You were the best son, brother, our true friend, godfather, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law, a wonderful family man and the best dad. You created a wonderful family, raised wonderful children, and came to help at any time of the day and night. You have done a lot for our country and there were still many plans, but it all ended in an instant. You never doubted for a moment whether to go or not, no persuasion could stop you. Your words 'Everyone needs to go' will be etched in our memory as the words of a true Hero. You are an example for everyone," wrote daughter Olena. The military man was buried in his hometown.
