- Born on July 12, 1964, in the city of Krasny Luch (since 2016 - Krystalnyi) in the Luhansk region. In 1981, he graduated from the secondary school in Krasny Luch. From 1982 to 1985, he served in the Soviet Navy. He served in the coastal missile and artillery troops of the Baltic Fleet (the urban-type settlement of Donskoye in the Svetlogorsk district of Kaliningrad region, Russia). In 1991, he graduated from the 2nd medical faculty of the Donetsk State Medical Institute named after Maxim Gorky (now - Donetsk National Medical University named after Maxim Gorky). After graduating from the higher medical institution, he was awarded the rank of "lieutenant of the medical service." He lived in the city of Donetsk. He worked in medical institutions. In 2014, he volunteered to join the 2nd special purpose battalion (reserve battalion) "Donbas" of the Northern operational-territorial association of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3027), where he became a military doctor in the medical support group. Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Therapist." In August 2014, he was involved in the battles for the city of Ilovaisk in the Donetsk region. On August 29, 2014, reserve medical service lieutenant Lukyanchenko, along with other servicemen, exited the "Ilovaisk cauldron" through the so-called "humanitarian corridor." The column was ambushed by Russian-terrorist groups near the village of Chervonosilskoye in the Amvrosiivskyi district of Donetsk region. Together with other fighters, he reached the village of Chervonosilskoye. Until September 1, 2014, he was with the remnants of the "Donbas" battalion in the village of Chervonosilskoye, where he was hidden by local residents. The villagers reported that terrorists were going from house to house searching for Ukrainian soldiers. Volodymyr Lukyanchenko was found and taken away.
