Volodymyr V. Mordas

Mordas Volodymyr Vasylovych was born in 1981. He participated in the mission in Iraq and the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he served in the military as a driver of the 2nd airborne assault platoon, 1st airborne assault company, 87th Separate Airborne Assault Battalion, 80th Separate Airborne Brigade. He was killed on May 24, 2022, near the village of Nyrkove, Popasna district, Luhansk region. He lived in Kremenets, Ternopil region, where he was buried on May 29, 2022. He left behind a wife and two children.
