Volodymyr V. Orshevskyi

Soldier Volodymyr Orshevskyi was killed on January 9, 2023 in the village of Chervonopopivka, Sievierodonetsk district, Luhansk region. The warrior received a fatal shrapnel wound. He turned 39 years old on January 1. Volodymyr was born in the Chernivtsi region. He stuwas killed at the gymnasium in the village of Hlyboka and later at the local vocational school No. 22. He obtained the profession of an electrician. He served his conscription. He lived with his family in the village of Prosykuriany. In peacetime, he worked as a worker in a forestry and at a sawmill. When the full-scale war began, he decided to defend Ukraine. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in August 2022. After training, he ended up at the front line. He was a fighter of the 25th separate airborne brigade. "He was the best man, a caring father, a cheerful person. Everyone loved him, respected him, and he helped everyone," said Natalia Orshevska, the wife of the fallen. The military was buried in the village of Prosika. Volodymyr is survived by his mother, wife, daughter, son, brother and sister. Volodymyr Orshevskyi was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
