Volodymyr V. Tkachuk (Doktor)

Vladimir Tkachuk (call sign Doctor) killed in action on March 14, 2022, near the village of Chervone in Mykolaiv region. During the execution of a combat mission, he received a fatal shrapnel-bullet wound. The hero remained forever 25 years old. Vladimir was from the village of Znamianka in Odesa region. He stu at the local comprehensive school. Then he graduated from the college of oil and gas technologies, engineering, and service infrastructure of ONTU. In 2016-2018, he completed his military service. He was a vocalist in a musical duet with his sister, a family hobby inherited from his father. In 2020, Vladimir signed a contract with the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 137th separate battalion of the 35th Marine Brigade. In 2021, he passed a very difficult exam to wear the color of the sea wave beret. And from the first days of the invasion, he fought on the Southern front. "He was very positive and created an atmosphere at every holiday. He was a person who loved life very much," said the wife of the deceased, Christina. The hero was buried in his native village. Vladimir is survived by his wife and two children. Posthumously, Seaman Vladimir Tkachuk was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.
