While performing his duties, he suffered fatal injuries as a result of enemy artillery shelling. The warrior was forever 49 years old. Volodymyr was from the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. After demobilization, he went to Poland, where he worked as an assembler at various enterprises. In his free time, he loved to fish. During the full-scale war, the man returned to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went back to the front. He fought as part of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, serving as a grenadier. "He was a very sociable and kind person. In 2014, he went to serve by conscription, and came out alive from the Debaltseve cauldron. At that time, he served in the 30th Brigade, they were sent in columns to storm to rescue the 128th Brigade. However, these columns were destroyed from tanks, they retreated through the forests, throwing away their weapons. While retreating, he found a grenade launcher and destroyed 6 tanks. After that, he was transferred to the Svitlodarsk Bulge, appointed as a squad leader in the 28th Brigade. He underwent training with NATO troops. During the liberation of the Kherson region, the entire personnel of his squad were killed. Therefore, Volodymyr decided to return to avenge his comrades. However, they did not want to restore his documents, and therefore he was placed as an ordinary soldier in the 53rd Brigade. From May to July, he was in the Sumy direction. In July, Volodymyr was transferred to Chasiv Yar, and then to New York, where he was killed. And this all happened in less than a week, because almost his entire company was destroyed in 3-4 days," said the deceased's son-in-law Oleksiy. Volodymyr was buried at the Forest Cemetery in Kyiv.
