- Born on April 3, 1994, in the city of Sambir, Lviv region, in a family of doctors. From 2000 to 2004, he studied at secondary school No. 3 in Sambir, and from 2004, at Sambir Gymnasium. In 2009, he graduated from the 9th grade of Sambir Gymnasium, and in 2011, with honors, from Sambir College of Economics and Informatics. Since 2011, he studied at the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University (Kyiv) majoring in "pediatrics." $He was professionally engaged in volleyball. He was a member of the Kyiv Volleyball Federation and participated in many volleyball tournaments. He was the winner of the 2nd Division of the men's league as part of the "Kiy-97" team in the 2013-2014 season. $In the winter of 2013-2014, he was at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. In December 2013, he was a co-founder of the Scientific Hundred of Maidan. On February 18, 2014, during the resistance to the storming of Maidan, he was injured by shrapnel from a grenade. $During the Revolution of Dignity, he was an activist and organizer of a number of events, in particular: co-organizer of the medical action "Burning for Others, I Burn Myself" in defense of the medical volunteer of Maidan, Oleksiy Tutov - an activist of the medical action "Medicine is not a Target" to protect medical volunteers from the arbitrariness of law enforcement - co-author of a complaint to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (which collected more than 500 signatures from doctors and students) regarding the establishment of a special commission to investigate crimes against medical personnel during the protests. $He was a student activist and organizer. Co-organizer of the Medical Revolution at the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University. He led the university's self-defense during the inspection by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. He was an activist of the Initiative Group "Revival of the National Medical University," actively participating in independent public initiatives, "brainstorming," and debates on creating a Development Program for traditions and innovations at the National Medical University "Innovations 7." He took an active public stance on ensuring equal rights to be elected for independent candidates for the rector of the National Medical University. $From March to April 2014, Volodymyr Yurichko tried to go to the Donetsk region to campaign for the unity of Ukraine. $In the spring of 2014, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the 24th Territorial Defense Battalion "Aidar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V0624). He underwent training at the battalion's training camp. From May 2014, he served as a medic, later as a machine gunner's assistant, and from July 2014, as a machine gunner in the reconnaissance and sabotage unit. $From May 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Scalpel." $On August 14, 2014, soldier Yurichko was killed by a sniper's bullet in a battle near the village of Khrashchuvate in the Krasnodon (since 2016 - Sorokyne) district of Luhansk region. $On August 17, 2014, he was buried in the city cemetery of Sambir, Lviv region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
