Volodymyr V. Zvir

Zvir Volodymyr Vasylovych was born on July 29, 1974, in the village of Zhovtantsi, Kamyanka-Buzka district of Lviv region. He lived with his family in the village of Velyke Kolodno, Zhovtanets territorial community. Since May 2022, he was called up for military service under mobilization. He carried out combat missions as part of the border command of the rapid reaction 105th border detachment named after Prince Volodymyr the Great. He received his combat baptism in battles in the Donetsk direction. On August 25, 2023, while performing a combat mission, Volodymyr, as part of the 79th Air Assault Brigade, came under mortar fire in the area of the village of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, and died from his injuries.
