- Soldier Volodymyr Faberskyi (call sign Kum) was killed on December 6, 2022, in battle with the occupiers near the village of Yakovlivka in the Donetsk region. The fighter was carrying out measures to defend the recently occupied positions for further assault operations and liberation of territories from the occupiers. The group of defenders he was part of encountered a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the enemy in close combat. During the shootout, the enemy used a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, and as a result of the explosion of the grenade, Volodymyr was killed on the spot. The warrior was forever 32 years old. Volodymyr was born in the city of Chervonograd, Lviv region. After school, he stuwas killed at the Chervonograd Professional Mining and Construction Lyceum. He worked as an underground electrician at the "Lisova" mine of the SE "Lvivvuhillia" in his hometown. In his free time, he was fond of hunting, loved fishing, and also made forged products. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend his country. He carried out combat missions as part of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. He was a grenade launcher. "Volodymyr was a wonderful man and a loving father. He was always ready to help, never refused to help friends and loved ones. He fulfilled the duty of every military-obligated citizen of Ukraine. On February 27, 2022, he came to the Chervonograd RTCK and SP of the Lviv region for military service. He was enrolled in the guard company in Chervonograd. From October 11, he was transferred to the 128th OSMAB. Showing courage and resilience, he remained faithful to the military oath until the end. He gave the most valuable - his life, so that we could live in a free country," said Maria Starodub, the sister of the deceased's wife. The defender was buried in the village of Bendiuha, Lviv region. At home, the warrior was awaited by his parents, his wife Khrystyna, son Matvii, and daughter Sofiia, who was born in December 2022 and whom he did not have time to see.
