- Bahl Volodymyr Yuriyovych was born on July 5, 1999, in the village of Kolky, Lutsk district, Volyn region. The boy's childhood took place in a very picturesque village located between two rivers — the Styr and the Rudka. He studied at Kolkiv Secondary School. After graduating from school, he entered Kolkiv Higher Vocational School and obtained the qualification of a tractor driver-machine operator. In December 2018, Volodymyr joined the military service under contract in the Varash unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, which provided security and defense for important state strategic facilities. In December 2021, Volodymyr Bahl got married, and in August 2022, the couple had a daughter. Volodymyr still dreamed of having a son. In December 2023, the 2nd platoon of the special forces company of military unit 3045, where at that time the chief sergeant Volodymyr Bahl served as the senior controller (commander) of the assault group, headed to the Zaporizhzhia region, where fierce battles were taking place with the occupying troops near the village of Robotyne. Volodymyr's unit was tasked with defending the approaches to the liberated Robotyne, which the enemy constantly attempted to regain control over. That day, Volodymyr Yuriyovych Bahl was on combat positions along with three comrades. The importance of holding these positions lay primarily in the fact that directly behind them was the village of Robotyne, and if a breakthrough occurred, enemy troops could gain a tactical advantage over the defenders of that section of the front. After moving to the combat positions and replacing the previous calculation of servicemen, the fighters took up the defense of the positions and observed the enemy's actions. Throughout the entire combat duty, the enemy continued to attempt assault actions but was unable to break through their confident and coordinated defense. During the next intense artillery shelling, the enemy used strike unmanned aerial vehicles, one of which struck inside the shelter, resulting in chief sergeant Bahl Volodymyr Yuriyovych and another serviceman being killed on the spot, while other members of the group sustained concussions and injuries.Memory Book of the MIA System
