Vsevolod Ye. Hrabar (Sieva)

Serviceman Vsevolod Grabar was killed on May 9, 2023, while defending the Zaporizhia region from Russian occupiers. The warrior was 32 years old. Vsevolod was born in Sevastopol, Crimea. In 2012, he graduated from the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Later, he settled in the Khmilnytskyi region. He served in the patrol police. As part of the "Tor" unit, he fought in the Donbas. He created a family and raised children, with whom he adored spending his free time. He was involved in sports and played football. He dreamed of the liberation of his native Crimea. During the full-scale invasion, the man stood to defend Ukraine. Vsevolod fought in the ranks of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a responsible, exemplary, and competent commander and comrade, earning the respect of his comrades. "I took part in the ATO with Vsevolod in 2019. A friend, a comrade, a person who never refused anyone or anything, but on the contrary, always offered to help solve one problem or another. There are very few such people," said a comrade with the call sign Sheva. "Eternal memory! You were and will remain the best commander, friend, and leader of our company. They say that heroes do not die, but I would like, very much, for them to simply live instead of being heroes. Here on earth, they are more needed than in heaven. Rest in peace, Seva..." wrote fellow warrior Tetiana Bondarenko. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory in Khmilnytskyi. Vsevolod is survived by his parents, wife, and two children.
