Yakiv I. Sezyk

Sezik Yakov Ivanovych was born on August 6, 1985 in the town of Talalaivka, Talalaivskyi district, Chernihiv region. Immediately after finishing secondary school, he was drafted into military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He had higher military education and combat experience in the war in eastern Ukraine, a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. In October 2021, he held the position of commander of the patrol company of the 15th separate regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. He died on April 12, 2022 in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region. On April 15, 2022, the warrior was buried in his native village of Talalaivka, Pryluky district.
