- Senior soldier Yaroslav Albert (call sign Yarik) was killed on November 1, 2022, during enemy artillery shelling near the village of Spirne in Donetsk region. The warrior was 42 years old. Yaroslav was born in the village of Turka in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. After finishing local school, he served in the military. Later, he worked for some time in a car repair shop, then at the "TTT" factory in the village of Pyadyky, Ivano-Frankivsk region. From 2014 to 2016, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He then signed a contract and served in the ranks of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. After completing his contract service, he remained in the reserve. During the full-scale war, in March 2022, Yaroslav was called up to the 109th Battalion of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade. He held the position of machine gunner. He participated in battles for Zhytomyr region and then moved to Donetsk region. "He was a very bright, cheerful person. He was very clever, brave, courageous, and always thought about his comrades," said the sister of the fallen soldier's wife, Snezana. The fighter was buried in his native village. Yaroslav is survived by his mother Maria, father Dmitry, wife Lyudmila, son Nazariy, daughter Ilona, relatives, and friends. Posthumously, Senior Soldier Yaroslav Albert was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
