Yaroslav M. Haida

After graduating from the pedagogical university, he worked as a physical education teacher in the village of Topoli, and at the general education school of I-III degrees in the village of Tauzhne, he taught the subject "Defense of the Fatherland." These words became a life guideline for him. In the name of a bright future for his homeland, he was at the Kyiv Maidan during the Revolution of Dignity, and in May 2014, he volunteered to defend the integrity of Ukraine. He served in the 34th Kirovohrad Territorial Defense Battalion. He went through more than one hot spot in Donbas. He was seriously wounded. He was treated in hospitals in Kharkiv and Odesa. He underwent two surgeries. He went through a rehabilitation course at home. He planned to continue his military service. He participated in volunteer work. When volunteers were packing collected items for shipment to the ATO, Yaroslav brought his bulletproof vest. "While I am on sick leave, it just lies here, and it might save someone's life there. They will give me another one later," he said. But it was not destined for him to return to the ATO zone.
