Biography
Yaroslav Mykolaiovych Paliichuk was born in 1991 in the village of Malyi Hvizdets, Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 2015, he graduated from the Kosiv College of Applied and Decorative Arts of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He was a professional graphic artist. He worked in the "dry brush" technique. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was a sapper in the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He died on May 9, 2022, in the Kurakhove area of Donetsk region. He was buried on May 20, 2022, in his native village. Yaroslav's parents transferred 1 million hryvnias to the "Come Back Alive" charitable foundation to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They plan to use the rest of the funds received from the state to print a book with drawings by Yaroslav Paliichuk, which he created before the full-scale Russian invasion.Burial place
