Yaroslav M. Petrushka

Yaroslav Mykhailovych Petrushka was born on June 2, 1981, in the city of Beleiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. On July 31, 2014, he was called up for military service to the 128th separate mountain-assault Zakarpattia brigade. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). In 2015, he ran for local elections to the regional and district councils, but was not elected due to his political force not overcoming the minimum electoral threshold. On the second day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, with the rank of senior sergeant, he was called up for military service to the 128th brigade. He actively participated in combat operations in Eastern Ukraine. He was killed on September 2, 2022, in the area of the village of Novovoznesenske, Kherson region.
