Yaroslav V. Kashuba

Junior Sergeant Yaroslav Kashuba (call sign Rex) died on June 10, 2024, during the performance of a combat mission near the village of Vodiane in the Donetsk region as a result of an attack by an enemy FPV drone. The warrior is now forever 27 years old. Yaroslav was born in the city of Varash, Rivne region. He studied at Varash Lyceum No. 1 until the 7th grade, then continued his studies at the Yavir football and sports club. In 2014, he graduated from the Mykolaiv Professional College of Physical Culture. He was passionate about football and the bar business. He worked as a bartender, bar manager, was an ambassador and a volunteer. During the full-scale war, in September 2023, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He was the commander of a rifle squad. He received the award "For Honor and Valor". "The best beloved husband, courageous, strong, intelligent, talented, brave, cheerful. Our last messages: 'How are you, my love?' - 'All is good,' said the deceased's girlfriend Kateryna Umanets. Yaroslav was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the cemetery in the village of Stara Rafalivka, Rivne region. The defender is survived by his parents, sister, and girlfriend.
