- Defender Yaroslav Natalukha (call sign Wind) was killed on December 31, 2022 near the village of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he suffered a fatal mine-explosive injury. The warrior was 49 years old. Yaroslav was born and lived in the city of Ostroh, Rivne region. He obtained the profession of a welding equipment adjuster at the Kvasylivskyi Vocational Lyceum. Then he served in the army in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region. In civilian life, he was engaged in car repair and had acquired a warehouse for this purpose. In his youth, he was involved in karting and repeatedly won prizes in motocross competitions. During the full-scale war, the man fought for his country in the ranks of the 68th Separate Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior scout-sniper and bravely carried out complex combat missions. "If I were asked what distinguishes my father from other people, first of all I would say - love, support and loyalty. It may seem like a cliché that can be said about many people, but dad taught us the most important thing - how not to lose ourselves in the cold and ruthless world that engulfs us in daily routine. Dad always taught me and my brother that the most important things in life are love and loyalty. And no wealth can be compared to these qualities. All his life, dad was a loyal friend, he never refused to help, even when he himself needed help. Dad invested all the love he had in us. Dad's biggest dream was to build a house for me and my brother and "a small house next to you, because you are the most precious thing I have..." We will miss his support and love all our lives..." - said the daughter of the fallen warrior, Anna. The military was buried in the New Cemetery in his hometown. Yaroslav is survived by a daughter, son, mother and grandmother.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
