Yaroslav V. Pysmennyi

Yaroslav Vasylovych Pysmennyy was born on March 20, 1982, in the village of Lysyanka in the Cherkasy region. After graduating from Lysyanka Secondary School No. 1, he obtained a legal education at the Kyiv Technical School of Hotel Management and the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. He then worked as a lawyer at several enterprises. In May 2017, he enlisted under a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade and later in the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the front line. He was killed on April 9, 2022, during an artillery shelling near the village of Ivanivka in the Chuhuiv district of the Kharkiv region. The farewell ceremony for the deceased took place on April 14, 2022, on the central square of the village of Lysyanka in the Cherkasy region.
