Yaroslav V. Yaniv (Enei)

Senior soldier Yaroslav Yaniv (call sign Eney) was killed on November 7, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Nevske in the Luhansk region. The defender was 26 years old. Yaroslav was born in the village of Banyuny in the Lviv region. Since childhood, he was interested in construction sets. He disassembled toy cars to see how everything was arranged inside. He graduated from the Lviv Higher Vocational School of Computer Technologies and Construction. He got married and lived in Kyiv. Together with his wife, he had his own online store. Yaroslav was involved in the development and assembly of 3D printers on order. He was also interested in designing robotics based on Arduino, which helped improve the printers. In the spring of 2022, he planned to launch printers of his own production called "Eney," but he did not have time. When the full-scale Russian invasion began, Yaroslav went to war at the end of February 2022. He served in the ranks of the 95th Air Assault Brigade. He was a squad commander in the sapper company. At the end of summer, he was awarded the medal "To the Unbreakable Heroes of the Russo-Ukrainian War." "My husband was not just a wonderful person, a loving husband, and a reliable friend. He was always responsible for the tasks he started. I saw potential in him when even he did not believe in it. That is why he accomplished a lot in his life, but unfortunately, he did not have time for much more. Not everyone is lucky in life to meet such a soulmate as my husband. We were incredibly lucky to be together, but life is too cruel," said the wife of the fallen, Anastasia. The paratrooper was buried in his native village. His parents, sister, and wife did not wait for him to return from the war.
