Yehor O. Bovin

23-year-old serviceman Yehor Bovin was killed on August 7, 2022, during an enemy mortar attack near Bakhmut in Donetsk region. Yehor was born in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. From childhood, he was fond of fantasy and technology. He wrote books based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. In his free time, he was involved in sports. He participated in the public life of the city, helped build sports grounds. In 2021, the young man entered the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, settled in Kharkiv and joined the local branch of the "National Corps". During the full-scale war, Yehor joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his native land from the occupiers. "Yehor was only 23 years old. His life was just beginning, full of prospects, opportunities, hopes... He will forever remain part of our university. Our deepest condolences to all Yehor's relatives and loved ones," the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University wrote on their page. The defender was buried in his native Donetsk region.
