- Soldier Yehor Hrachov (call sign Hohi) died on October 22, 2023 near the village of Kamianske in the Zaporizhia region. While performing his duties, he sustained fatal injuries as a result of a hostile drone attack. The warrior was forever 44 years old. Yehor was born and lived in Dnipro. He graduated from school No. 111. In civilian life, he worked as a forklift driver at the Nikopol Kurcha enterprise. He was passionate about painting. He was a father of a large family, which is why he devoted his free time to his family, whom he loved more than anything. On November 2, 2022, the man began military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade. He held the position of a scout, a number in the reconnaissance company. Since the beginning of 2023, together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the Zaporizhia direction. "My dad is a very responsible, kind and decent person, a loving family man. He had no bad habits. My dad is a person with a capital letter, who had a good and sensitive heart. His comrades-in-arms took his death very hard, because they considered him a true friend and warrior. He was very responsible, friendly, the soul of the company," shared Veronika Fitz. The defender was buried at the Chaplinsky cemetery in Dnipro. At home, he was awaited by his wife Inna, daughters Veronika and Dominika, and sons Artem and Kyrylo. Posthumously, Yehor Hrachov was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
