Yevhen A. Papucha (Dykyi)

Sergeant Yevhen Papucha (call sign Dykyi) was killed on October 17, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. The fighter was 40 years old. Yevhen was born and lived in Zaporizhzhia. After school, he received the profession of an electrician-mechanic for the repair of electrical equipment at the local vocational school No. 38. He worked as a surveyor at the research institute "Ukrhiprostal". In his free time, he loved to fish. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Yevhen joined the ranks of the military unit A7090. He held the position of grenade launcher assistant. "He was a very cheerful and kind person. He always helped others. This is a very heavy loss. You will forever remain in our hearts," said the wife of the fallen. Yevhen was buried in the cemetery of St. Nicholas in his native Zaporizhzhia. At home, he was awaited by his wife Uliana, daughter Kseniia, and son Kostiantyn.
