Yevhen A. Yalovets

Born on May 11, 1989, in the village of Sozonivka, Kirovohrad district, Kirovohrad region. In 2005, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school (now an educational and training complex) in the village of Sozonivka, then attended the Kirovohrad Professional Lyceum (now named after the Hero of the Soviet Union O.S. Yegorov) in the city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the army, he worked as a machinist at the Public Joint Stock Company "Hydrosila" (city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi)). In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From March 2014, he served in the Kirovohrad Combined City Military Commissariat of Kirovohrad region (city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi)), and from September 2015, he was the head of the information protection service of the Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi) District Military Commissariat of Kirovohrad region (city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi)). On March 11, 2017, he was assigned to the 10th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Operational Command "South" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V2254) as a specialist-operator. Since spring 2017, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 11, 2017, around 16:30, Senior Sergeant Yevhen Yalovets was killed in the area of the village of Pavlopil, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region, as a result of shelling from an anti-tank missile system of a military truck URAL-4320, in which he was located. Senior soldier Yuriy Soroka was killed along with him. On June 14, 2017, he was buried in the Alley of Honorary Burials at the Roven Cemetery in the city of Kropyvnytskyi.
