Yevhen K. Mazyrko (Tuman)

Soldier Yevhen Mazyryko was killed on August 13, 2022, in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Bilohirka in the Kherson region. The life of the 36-year-old warrior was cut short by enemy tank shelling. Yevhen was born and lived in the city of Zaporizhia. He graduated from the 11th grade of Zaporizhzhia Collegium No. 96. In 2007, he obtained a technician-technologist qualification at the Zaporizhzhia Hydroenergetic College of the Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy. He worked at the Zaporizhzhia Ferroalloy Plant. In 2021, he completed a course in "Software Testing." He was interested in history and read a lot. He loved nature and traveling. He enjoyed visiting the island of Khortytsia. During the full-scale war, he fought for his native country as part of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a sapper in the 46th Separate Air Assault Brigade. "Zhenya was a good, beloved husband and father; he was our support. He loved his daughter Yelyzaveta, his little copy, very much. He always came to help and supported those around him, was not afraid of difficulties, lived by justice, and had his own views on everything, which he confidently argued. He worked on self-improvement. He always said that everything would be fine! He believed in our best future and victory. According to his comrades, he was brave and always provided support," said the wife of the fallen, Natalia. The defender was buried at St. Nicholas Cemetery in his hometown of Zaporizhia. At home, Yevhen was awaited by his mother, sister, wife, and daughter.
