Yevhen O. Nedashkivskyi (Kruk)

Marine Yevhen Nedashkivskyi (call sign Kruk) was killed on November 2, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Krynky in the Kherson region. The warrior was forever 31 years old. Yevhen was born in the village of Dymarka, Kyiv region. He lived in the village of Obukhovychi. He studied to be a welder at the Kyiv Vocational School. He worked in his profession at a private company in the capital. He loved fishing, growing indoor plants. He adored drawing. He was engaged in tattooing: he made them for himself and his friends. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stood up to defend his native country. He served in the 35th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyy. He held the position of a rifleman-medic. "Zhenya was always friendly, benevolent, responded to requests for help. In his hands, everything began to work and became in order. He carried out any business responsibly and creatively," said the deceased's cousin Tetyana Obarska. "He loved noisy companies when all the friends gathered, for example, New Year's or birthdays. He loved when everyone was together. He loved technology. He adored motorcycles. He was ingenious," added his sister Viktoria Halushka. Yevhen was buried in the village of Obukhovychi, Kyiv region. He is survived by his parents, sister, two sons, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
