Yevhen O. Ovcharuk

Soldier Yevhen Ovcharuk was killed on May 23, 2024 near the village of Ternі in the Donetsk region. During the artillery shelling, he sustained fatal injuries. Yevhen was 31 years old. He was born in the city of Gubkinsky (Russia). In civilian life, he worked as a 5th class electric gas welder at the Zhmerynka signaling and communication distance of the regional branch "Pivdenno-Zakhidna Zaliznytsia". In February 2022, Yevhen was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a machine gunner of the 2nd rifle squad of the rifle platoon of the 2nd rifle company of military unit A7336. "He was a capable and persistent employee who professionally carried out the assigned tasks. He was a kind, sincere and decent person. He dreamed of a happy family life," his colleagues said about the deceased. At home, Yevhen was awaited by his wife, mother and sister.
