- Junior Sergeant Yevhen Udovyka (call sign "Malyi) was killed on January 26, 2023, while performing his duties on the outskirts of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. He was forever 31 years old. Yevhen was born in the village of Husynka, Kharkiv region. In childhood, he moved with his family to the city of Kupiansk, where he went to the 1st grade of school No. 4. Later, the family moved to Kharkiv. There, Yevhen graduated from school No. 83. He then obtained the profession of an electric gas welder at the Kharkiv Automobile and Transport Technical School. He loved to play table tennis and generally spent his free time actively. In peaceful life, he worked as a welder at the Kharkiv Reinforced Concrete Plant No. 15. At the beginning of the full-scale war, he helped manufacture concrete "hedgehogs". Soon, he joined the National Guard of Ukraine to fight for his country. He served in the 3rd Brigade of Special Purpose named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan. He was the commander of a mortar platoon mortar battery. "Yevhen was a bright and kind person, ready to give everything he had to anyone in need," said his younger sister Viktoria. The National Guard soldier was buried on the Alley of Glory in Kharkiv. Yevhen is survived by his mother, younger brother and sister, goddaughter-niece, and nephew.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
