Yevhen S. Martynov (Kipish)

Soldier Yevhen Martynovs (call sign Kipish) was killed on May 6, 2023, in a hospital in Dnipro from wounds received the day before while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Yampil in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 39 years old. Yevhen was born in the settlement of Vilshany in the Kharkiv region. From childhood, he lived with his family in Kharkiv. He studied at school No. 126 and a construction college. He then graduated from the Kharkiv Engineering and Construction Institute. He worked at a metal products enterprise. He loved to travel around the Kharkiv region, as he was fascinated by its landscapes. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in May 2022, the man joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He became a serviceman of one of the brigades and went to the front line to defend his native country. "Courageous, honest, kind. A loving son," said the mother of the fallen warrior. The defender was buried in his native settlement. Yevhen is survived by his parents.
